The Covenant School
The Upper School (grades 9-12) is a fully master planned school campus located in Albemarle County, Virginia. The 30 acre campus is situated upon typical rolling terrain within a primarily residential surrounding community. The planning and design process considered zoning issues, environmentally sensitive features and limited existing infrastructure to maximize the potential for the property. The result is an integrated and efficient campus that offers balance and aesthetic beauty.
UVA Research Park: Town Center III
This 90,000 square foot, three-story multi-tenant professional building is located in the northern end of Albemarle County, Virginia. Town Center III is the keystone structure to the Town Center District of the UVA Research Park. The planning and design of this facility considered adjacent facilities, facilities under construction and those that were yet to be planned. The careful design process fully integrated all aspects of existing and future potential of the master planned district. The result is a sustainable professional building that is well positioned for maximizing the potential of the Town Center District. The facility achieved LEED Gold Certification for the Core and Shell by the U.S. Green Building Council. This was the first project of any kind that achieved LEED Certification for the University of Virginia.
Pantops Park
This five acre site was rezoned in 2006 from Highway Commercial to a Neighborhood Model District. The rezoning allowed for a unique site layout that will provide a model for the region in the years to come. The 40,000 square foot regional bank anchors the site, which, was designed and planned with phased development in mind. This urban redevelopment provides for interconnectivity within the surrounding network of streets and includes stormwater enhancements to an area that was without treatment for many years.
